Agency Revolution's Forge suits an independent agency that wants insurance pages, quote forms and agency system links ready to go, at a published monthly price. Its terms renew a year at a time and charge for leaving early, so read them before you sign. A custom site suits an agency that wants a design made for it and clear terms on what it keeps when it leaves.

- Agency Revolution was founded in 2012 and says it supports over 3,000 agencies (About Agency Revolution).

Who owns Agency Revolution now?
Agency Revolution is still sold under its own name, and its parent company is FMG Suite. FMG, a marketing software company for financial advisors and insurance agents, announced the purchase in August 2017. A private equity firm completed its purchase of FMG Suite in September 2025, and the release says FMG serves over 3,500 insurance professionals (closing release).
Agency Revolution grew its website business by buying Forge3, maker of the ActiveAgency website platform, in August 2022. Over 1,200 independent agencies used ActiveAgency at the time (Forge3 release). Today Agency Revolution sells two main products: Forge for websites and Fuse for marketing automation.
What does a Forge website include?
Forge is an insurance website platform with ready-made content and forms. Agency Revolution's website page lists:
- Coverage pages. More than 200, plus more than 60 interactive graphics.
- Forms. "Lead Gen Forms," which it says appear on almost every page.
- A client center where customers serve themselves.
- A dashboard where you make simple changes, see form submissions and request bigger changes.
- Integrations with agency systems and raters such as AMS360, Applied, HawkSoft and QQCatalyst.
Forge Premium adds business texting, local listings, reputation management and what Agency Revolution calls advanced sales and service tools. Agency Revolution says Forge sites are not "a one-size-fits-all template," and offers design options. Ask for live examples of agencies like yours.
What does Agency Revolution cost?
Unlike Zywave, Agency Revolution publishes starting prices. These are its listed prices:
| Package | Setup | Monthly, starting at | Year one at list price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Forge Essential | $500 | $140 | $2,180 |
| Forge Premium | $1,000 | $310 | $4,720 |
| Forge Essential + Fuse | $1,000 | $289 | $4,468 |
| Forge Premium + Fuse | $1,500 | $459 | $7,008 |
Year one is setup plus 12 months, for example $500 + $140 × 12 = $2,180. Bundle prices come from the marketing and websites page.
Add-ons cost extra: business texting is $50 a month, local listings $50 a month per location, reputation management $110 a month and social media $90 a month. These are starting prices, so get your own quote in writing.
What do Agency Revolution's terms say?
The terms make Forge a yearly commitment once the first term ends. The version on its site is headed "Revised June 30th, 2026." The main points:
- Renewal. After the first term, the agreement renews for one-year terms unless either side gives written notice 30 days before the end.
- Leaving early. In the first term, the early termination fee is the rest of that term's fees. In a renewal term, it is 50% of what remains.
- Refunds. Fees are "non-cancellable" and payments "nonrefundable," unless your order form says otherwise.
- Price changes. Agency Revolution aims to give 15 days' notice of a price increase.
- When it ends. Your license to the software ends. Its help moving your content, for a fee, stops 15 days after termination.
Move your domain before the clock runs out: If Agency Revolution holds your domain under its account, its help transferring it "shall cease fifteen (15) days after termination" (Agency Revolution terms).
Agency Revolution's website page also says "Your domain is yours, always." Keep the domain registered in your own name from day one, and that clause never applies. Our website ownership checklist lists the other accounts to hold yourself.
How does Forge compare with a custom site?
The main differences are content, design and exit terms.
| Forge | Custom site | |
|---|---|---|
| Insurance content | 200+ coverage pages included | Written for you or supplied by you |
| Design | Platform designs with options | Designed for your agency |
| Integrations | Listed agency system and rater links | Scoped with the project |
| Published price | From $140 a month + $500 setup | Varies; ours is $2,000 to start, then $99/month for hosting and care |
| Term | Renews a year at a time | Set by the studio's contract |
| Leaving | License ends; 15 days of transfer help | Set by the studio's contract |
When is Forge the better choice?
Forge is the better choice when you want a lot of insurance content quickly and like having marketing automation from the same vendor. Its published prices also make budgeting simple. A custom site fits better when you want a design and lead flow built for your agency, or you don't want a yearly renewal.
Our guide to agency website options compares builders, platforms and custom sites. The Zywave Websites comparison covers the other big insurance platform.
What would a custom site from Webdimonia include?
Our Website plan is $2,000 to start, then $99/month for hosting and care. You approve the design before development, and the site comes with an admin dashboard for leads and content. Independent agencies can choose the Agency System instead, at $500 for month 1, then $299 a month from month 2. It adds lead follow-up, missed-call text back, review requests and renewal check-ins.
The monthly fees on both are month-to-month. Details are on our pricing page. Bring your Agency Revolution quote to a website strategy call and we will compare it with ours.
